A rollout is part of the product

Apple spreads exposure over ~7 days. Google lets you dial the percentage. Pick the control — don’t skip it.

Lottery Innovation Summit · October 12, 2026 · US lottery industry

Shipping 100% of users on day one is a choice — usually the wrong one for a lottery app under store rules, geolocation, and public trust.

Apple: prefer a manual or phased release over about seven days. Exposure grows with time. Watch crashes, review spikes, and support load day by day. Pause if the binary misbehaves.

Google Play: you can control the percentage. Start small. Climb when metrics hold. Same idea as Apple’s phased release — population dial instead of a calendar drip.

Time on Apple. Percentage on Play. Intent on both.

Pair rollout with version-gated previews in TestFlight / internal testing so the build that enters phased release already saw production content in a smaller room.

A rollout isn’t a checkbox after “Submit.” It’s part of how the product meets the jurisdiction.

Real problems. Built solutions.

Lottery Innovation Summit is a challenge summit for US lottery gaming — not a conference: problems in, working demos out — not decks. Join the announcement list for when details are finalized.
