Insight · ASO & localization
The store can speak their language first
Listing language ≠ app language. Meet players in the store before you rewrite the binary.
Lottery Innovation Summit · October 14, 2026 · US lottery industry
Full app localization is expensive: strings, support, legal, screenshots, regression. That doesn’t mean the store has to stay English-only while you wait.
Put product pages in different languages while the app remains English. Searchers and browsers meet you in-language. The binary can catch up when budget and ops are ready.
Metadata first. UI later — on purpose.
Be honest in the listing if the experience is English. Trust beats a surprise. You’re buying discovery and clarity — not a fake promise of a fully localized client.
Do it on both stores where the tools allow. Pair with custom product pages so language and angle can vary by campaign.
US lottery audiences aren’t monolingual. Your storefront shouldn’t pretend they are just because the sprint board said “English only.”
Real problems. Built solutions.
Lottery Innovation Summit is a challenge summit for US lottery gaming — not a conference: problems in, working demos out — not decks. Join the announcement list for when details are finalized.
